My work experience is vast as I have had the pleasure of walking alongside adolescents, teens, and adults of diverse backgrounds. I have served as a Mental Health Practitioner, a School Mental Health Therapist, and most recently a School Counselor for Phoenix School Counseling.
As a school counselor, I provide group services aimed at proactive social-emotional learning (SEL) skills. I also engage in 1:1 sessions aimed at targeted goals and small peer groups. The greatest joy for me is seeing when a child has taken the skills we have worked on and applied them to real world situations.
In my free time, you can find me with my dog, Moose. I enjoy reading during the winter months and being outdoors during the warmer months. When time allows, I travel back to my hometown in order to see my parents, siblings, and nephews/nieces.
I look forward to working alongside Camp I Can campers this summer!
